Product Manager, B2B Remittance
Role Summary
Botim For Business is building a comprehensive financial ecosystem for SMEs, enabling seamless payments, payroll, lending, and cross-border transactions.
As a Product Manager – Cross Border Payments, you will own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for B2B remittance and international payment solutions. You will focus on enabling businesses to send and receive payments globally with speed, transparency, and cost efficiency. This role sits at the intersection of payments infrastructure, FX, compliance, and merchant experience, and requires strong collaboration with banking partners, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
1. Product Ownership & Strategy
Define and execute the product roadmap for B2B cross-border payments, aligned with Botim’s merchant ecosystem strategy.
Build solutions for international payouts, supplier payments, and bulk remittances.
Identify new corridors, use cases, and monetization opportunities.
2. Payments & FX Infrastructure
Design and optimize payment flows involving: -SWIFT and local payment rails, Partner banks and payment service providers
FX pricing, spreads, and rate management
Improve speed, reliability, and cost efficiency of cross-border transactions.
3. Merchant Experience
Simplify complex cross-border flows into intuitive user experiences.
Optimize onboarding, compliance checks, transaction tracking, and reconciliation.
Ensure transparency in fees, FX rates, and settlement timelines.
4. Compliance & Risk Management
Work closely with Risk, Compliance, and Legal teams to ensure adherence to: -AML / CFT regulations -Sanctions screening -Central Bank and cross-border regulatory requirements
Design compliant yet frictionless user journeys.
5. Stakeholder Management Collaborate with:
Engineering & Design teams for product delivery, Banking partners and payment providers, Operations and customer support teams, Commercial teams for merchant acquisition
Act as the product owner across multiple stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
6. Data & Performance Management Define and track KPIs such as:
Transaction success rate, Processing time (TAT), Cost per transaction, Volume per corridor, Merchant adoption and retention
Use data to optimize pricing, routing, and product features.
7. Growth & Expansion
Drive corridor expansion strategy (e.g., India, Pakistan, Philippines, Africa, Europe).
Identify opportunities for cross-sell with acquiring, WPS, and SME lending products.
Build scalable APIs and integrations for enterprise use cases
Requirements
5–8 years of Product Management experience, with strong exposure to payments, fintech, or banking.
Hands-on experience in cross-border payments, remittances, or FX products.
Strong understanding of: Payment rails (SWIFT, local clearing systems) FX pricing and settlement flows Banking integrations and APIs Experience working in regulated financial environments.
Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder ecosystems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field.
Preferred Experience
Experience in GCC, MENA, or emerging markets
Exposure to SME or B2B financial products
Familiarity with payment orchestration or routing systems
