Head of Platform Growth and Monetization
Role Summary
The Head of Platform Growth & Monetisation is responsible for driving sustainable user and revenue growth across the Astra Tech & Botim ecosystem by unlocking value from the platform’s communication, fintech, and digital services portfolio. The role serves as the custodian of platform economics, ensuring alignment between user growth, engagement, and monetisation strategies across the platform’s services. This leader will define scalable growth frameworks, leverage data-driven experimentation, and optimize monetisation opportunities across Astra Tech & Botim's expanding digital ecosystem.
Responsibilities
1. Platform Growth Strategy
Define and execute Astra Tech & Botim platform growth roadmap across communication, fintech, and digital services.
Drive strategies to increase user acquisition, engagement, and retention across the platform.
Design scalable growth loops across product, marketing, and lifecycle channels.
2. Platform Monetisation
Develop monetisation frameworks that maximize the value of Astra Tech & Botim's large user base. Identify opportunities across: - Fintech services - Payments and remittances - Digital services - Value-added offerings
Optimize revenue per active user through pricing, bundles, and user lifecycle strategies.
3. Portfolio Performance Ownership.
Act as the business performance owner for the platform services portfolio, ensuring each service contributes to overall growth and monetization goals.
Monitor service performance through clear metrics around adoption, engagement, and revenue contribution.
Prioritize initiatives based on data insights and business impact.
4. Data-Driven Growth
Establish and scale a culture of experimentation and measurable growth across the platform. Implement frameworks for: - A/B testing - cohort analysis - lifecycle optimization - Translate user behaviour insights into actionable growth strategies.
5. Ecosystem Development
Collaborate with internal teams to expand the range of services available on the platform.
Support the integration of new services and offerings that enhance the platform’s value proposition. Ensure new services align with platform growth and monetisation objectives.
6. Cross-Functional Leadership
Work closely with Product, Marketing, Data, and Commercial teams to drive growth initiatives.
Align stakeholders around platform growth priorities and monetisation opportunities.
Ensure consistent execution of growth strategies across different services
Requirements
8+ years of experience in consumer technology, fintech, or digital platforms.
Demonstrated experience driving growth and monetisation in large-scale digital products.
Strong background in user lifecycle growth, engagement strategy, and revenue optimization.
Experience working with multi-service platforms or digital ecosystems.
Strong analytical mindset with experience leveraging data to inform growth decisions.
Exposure to emerging markets and digital financial services is highly valued.
Ability to optimize growth across a portfolio of services rather than a single product.
Growth Orientation: Deep understanding of user acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization levers.
Commercial Acumen: Strong instinct for identifying scalable revenue opportunities within large digital user bases.
Data Fluency: Ability to translate analytics and experimentation into strategic decision-making.
Collaborative Leadership: Comfort working across product, marketing, data, and commercial teams to deliver platform-wide growth.
