Senior Commercial Manager
Role Summary
We are looking for a Senior Commercial Manager – International Remittance to lead commercial performance and growth for botim’s international remittance proposition. The role will drive corridor performance, pricing and FX strategy, budgeting, promotions governance, and revenue optimization, partnering closely with Product, Growth, Data, Treasury, Operations, and Compliance to scale an app-native, wallet-led cross-border remittance experience.
The candidate must be highly analytical and commercially rigorous, capable of balancing growth and profitability in a market where digital apps are increasingly the preferred method for sending money.
Responsibilities
Own commercial performance across corridors, including volume, revenue, margin and customer experience outcomes within a digital, in-app international remittance journey.
Build and maintain corridor-level commercial models (unit economics, cost stacks, take-rates, pricing/FX scenarios) to guide prioritization and decision-making.
Drive expansion of B2B international remittance for SMEs and merchants owning commercial strategy, pricing, and corridor priorities.
Partner with Product, Ops, and Risk to design and scale B2B flows ensuring strong unit economics and a frictionless customer experience.
Lead pricing, fees, and FX optimization to improve competitiveness and profitability, ensuring transparent, measurable impact.
Define and govern a promotions & offers roadmap (acquisition, activation, retention), including business cases, ROI tracking, and budget controls.Partner with Growth teams to optimize marketing investment and performance levers that improve both topline growth and contribution margin.
Drive funnel improvements across different user journeys in collaboration with the Growth and Product teams optimizing for business growth.
Establish a strong business cadence: weekly KPI tracking, monthly business reviews, and executive-ready reporting with clear insights and actions.
Ensure commercial initiatives remain executable within regulatory and platform constraints (limits, safeguarding, service rules) and align with UAE payments oversight frameworks.
Requirements
8–12+ years of experience in fintech / digital payments / wallets / international transfers (digital-first ONLY).
Proven track record owning commercial KPIs and P&L-style performance (budgeting, forecasting, revenue and margin delivery).
Strong expertise in commercial modeling and unit economics (corridor profitability, pricing/FX strategy, contribution margin, promotion ROI, scenario planning).
Advanced analytical capability (Excel/Sheets; SQL/BI tools preferred) with ability to translate data into clear actions and measurable outcomes.
Demonstrated experience improving digital funnels through experimentation (A/B testing, lifecycle/CRM, conversion optimization, retention levers).
Strong understanding of GCC outbound transfers market dynamics (customer segments, seasonality, corridor behavior, competitive landscape).
Experience in B2B cross-border payments / SME money movement (commercial ownership, pricing/unit economics, and/or launching B2B transfer capabilities in a fintech or digital payments environment).
Excellent stakeholder management and executive presentation skills; ability to influence cross-functional teams (Product, Growth, Ops, Treasury, Risk/Compliance).
High ownership mindset with strong problem-solving and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus: exposure to adjacent fintech products (cards, lending, savings/investments) and ability to identify cross-sell monetization opportunities.
